Rahma Mosque

Rahma Mosque is a place to meet and gather for people of the Muslim faith, established and kept by CDS Balimaya. The doors are open every day for the five prayers, and for everything that happens around them.

Ramadan

Ramadan changes the rhythm of the place: evening prayers, shared breaking of the fast, families here until late.

During Ramadan: tarawih prayers every evening after Isha, community iftars, and family activities all month. The iftars and suhoors served at the mosque are free.

Welcome, and your first visit

Coming for the first time? Simply come to the front desk. Someone will show you where to leave your shoes, where to make your ablutions, and where to sit.

Non-Muslim visitors: anyone curious to see the place is welcome, outside prayer times. Write to us and we will arrange a time.

Supporting the mosque

Upkeep, heating, electricity and equipment are constant costs. Gifts to Rahma Mosque go into a separate fund and are used only for the life of the place.

Give to the mosque fund

  • Money given to religious life and money given to community programmes are accounted for separately and do not fund one another.
  • An official tax receipt is issued for every eligible gift of $20 or more.
