سورة البقرة، الآية 185
شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أُنزِلَ فِيهِ ٱلْقُرْءَانُ هُدًۭى لِّلنَّاسِ وَبَيِّنَـٰتٍۢ مِّنَ ٱلْهُدَىٰ وَٱلْفُرْقَانِ ۚ فَمَن شَهِدَ مِنكُمُ ٱلشَّهْرَ فَلْيَصُمْهُ ۖ وَمَن كَانَ مَرِيضًا أَوْ عَلَىٰ سَفَرٍۢ فَعِدَّةٌۭ مِّنْ أَيَّامٍ أُخَرَ ۗ يُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ بِكُمُ ٱلْيُسْرَ وَلَا يُرِيدُ بِكُمُ ٱلْعُسْرَ وَلِتُكْمِلُوا۟ ٱلْعِدَّةَ وَلِتُكَبِّرُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ مَا هَدَىٰكُمْ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ
Al Bukhari and Muslim report Umar may Allah be pleased with him said: “The Prophet (SAW) prescribed for the zakat of breaking the fast a bushel of dates or barley, alms to which every Muslim, man or woman, child or adult, free or slave is required. »
During Ramadan, Muslims aim to grow spiritually and become closer to Allah and their loved ones. In essence, Ramadan serves as a time of spiritual reflection, purification, and personal growth for Muslims.
It is said that Prophet Mohammed once spoke, "When the month of Ramadan starts, the gates of heaven are opened and the gates of hell are closed and the devils are chained."
The Prophet said, "Whoever fasted the month of Ramadan out of sincere Faith (i.e. belief) and hoping for a reward from Allah, then all his past sins will be forgiven
